Cold & Still: A Photographer’s Polar Walk Through Reflection Pointe Cemetery
When Fauxtographer and I had to reschedule our last Saturday outing, I instead planned to visit a few local cemeteries. I speak from experience when I say you should listen to local weather forecasts. It was cold . Reflection Pointe is a relatively small cemetery with just 282 graves, so it normally wouldn't take very long to visit adequately regardless, but it was... cold . Between Two Centuries: A Photographic Exploration of St. Joseph’s Cemetery
Welcome back, lens lovers! I mentioned in my previous post that there were two cemeteries I have previously visited that I would share here. This post is about Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Geary County, Manhattan, Kansas. I visited this cemetery on the insistence of RBF who had been here previously and told me how beautiful it was. It may be a prompt for my project; the spot where the idea was planted. Saint Joseph’s Cemetery was around a two-hour drive, and well worth it.

Between Today and Tomorrow: The Unfolding of Hillcrest Cemetery
It’s great to see you again, fellow shutterbugs! Tell me, what’s a photographer if not someone who’s taken a few imperfect shots along the way? What if I told you that (obviously) not every shot will be perfect (and perhaps even well below par), but it’s still alright to share those? What? You’ve never heard that before? Well, on this site we (I mean me) embrace lackluster photos as passionately as we embrace beautiful photos. Like everything else, photography takes p
