Quick Snaps & Favorite Shots: A Glimpse Through My Lens

Hello my friends in photography! As you can see, we are a brand new site! We aren't brand new photographers, though. Steadily, exuberantly, we are expanding our collective knowledge and honing our skills.

We are excited to meet fellow photographers, likeminded explorers, and curious wanderers. Take some knowledge, leave some knowledge, or just chat with us. Here's some questions just to get started.

Where are your favorite places to take photos? What are your favorite subjects?

What kind of camera do you use?

What advice would you give to someone starting out in photography?

What first inspired you to pick up a camera?

How did you get started in photography?

Do you have any formal training, or are you self-taught?

I'll share my favorite photo from my last session. This bronze statue of a woman and the withering of the flower she's looking at carries a pensive, thoughtful feel, and the moment I saw the setting, I knew I had to photograph it. I am usually very "Chaos Method" and spontaneous in my photography, snapping shots without much prelude; this is one of the rare few that I contemplated pre-click. And I love it. me know what you think!
