The Flint Hills Scenic Byway

After years of seeing this house from a non photographable distance, I was finally able to find the side road to get a much better view of it.

Today I took a drive along one of my favorite routes - The Flint Hills Scenic Byway. Since I was solo I was able to drive and stop wherever my heart desired and I loved every second of it! The Flint Hills make me so happy! I kept along the main road for most of this drive. I started out in Cassoday, which I realized I had never done before (in the past Strong City has always been my starting point), and ended it shortly before Council Grove when I detoured on a dirt road.

Next time I'll take the winding dirt roads and spend the entire day being lost with my camera.
