When can one call themselves a “photographer”?

 

I’ve been enamored with snapping pictures since I was a child. I learn as I go and go by what I feel. I will never know what mm my lens is and don’t even attempt to ask me what my camera settings are. I’ve only had one trusty camera at a time throughout my life starting from the days of point and shoot film to my current sweet Lumix given to me by someone very special. 

 

My inspirations are traveling, candid shots, bold colors, Annie Leibovitz and Interview Magazine.

My biggest icks are fake smiles, cookie cutter photos and the words “mini sesh”.

 

If you find my images obsession worthy I’d be thrilled to hear from you! Maybe then one day I can feel comfortable calling myself a “photographer.” 

 

And please, don’t ever tell *me* to smile!
