Route 66 – Fading America
This long-term photography project documents abandoned towns, roadside architecture, and quiet landscapes along historic Route 66.
Many communities along the highway declined after interstate highways bypassed them in the 1970s. Motels, gas stations, and small businesses that once served travelers slowly faded away.
These photographs explore the places that remain: ghost towns, neon motels, empty highways, and fragments of roadside America that still survive along the old road.
