Salutations, Photo Fam!
Waaaaay back on September 5th, I wrote a post introducing my beautiful 8-legged friend.
She's still hanging around! She has three egg sacks now. My understanding is that the spiderlings hatch and hang out in the sack until spring to survive the winter. I'm not an expert on this sort of thing, but I am flattered that she has chosen my home as safe haven for her babies.
I snapped some more photos of the gorgeous girl.

She's busy keeping us safe... from moths?
The god awful junebugs are gone for the season, but she has weathered storms.
The ability of a spider's web to endure storms is a symbol of resilience and the strength to overcome challenges. Some traditions see spiders as providing energetic protection for a home.
I love her and I hope that you all do too.
