New Mexico: Sept. 2024

Hello Photo Folks!

A year ago this month, Faux and I went to New Mexico as my Bachelorette Vacay.

This website didn't exist then, even though AOx5 did. I'm sharing our adventure with you now.

We left Kansas, snapping along the way.

Headed through Oklahoma (do I have OK photos? I'm sure I do, but not sure where I put them.) Stick a pin in Oklahoma! We angled into Texas to visit Cadillac Ranch and Slug Bug Ranch in Amarillo.

We were there!!!

And onward we went to Glenrio, NM.

I wish it hadn't been so dark by the time we got there, but I still loved it! Nice and creepy and haunting.

We ended our trip that evening in Tucumcari, NM, at the retro Motel Safari. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend it! We were greeted by the owner and his Boxer pupper, Sam.

RIP Sam

I saw in a heartbreaking update from Motel Safari on Insta that Sam has since passed away. I'm glad I got to meet her!

We checked into Motel Safari and then headed out for food. On the way we saw this building which I had to take a photo of. (Not legal in Kansas, yet!)
