I Don’t Need Noise

I’m not interested in volume, spectacle, or excess. I’m not interested in novelty for its own sake, or in making images louder than the moment requires.

Photography, for me, is not a persona or a performance. It’s a practice—one that improves slowly, without shortcuts.

I’m drawn to restraint: quiet structures, pauses, and what remains unresolved. I care more about intent than output, and more about coherence than volume.

I’m interested in images that can stand on their own. If a photograph needs to announce itself, I’m not finished with it.

I’m not here to produce everything. I’m here to produce what’s deliberate.

That’s the work I stand behind.

I don't need noise.
